What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic Therapy is a gentle, body-first approach that helps you work with the deeper layers of stress, emotion, and protection that live beyond logical thought.

While talk therapy focuses on insight, mindset shifts, and cognitive understanding, Somatic Therapy supports you in reconnecting with your body, where patterns, tension, and protective responses (like fight, flight, freeze, or fawn) often remain long after the mind believes we’ve “moved on.”

Instead of talking about your experiences, we go deeper by exploring what burdens your body is holding.

This allows stuck stress, trauma, emotions, and old survival patterns to be safely felt, integrated, and eventually released.


All without having to relive or rehash the past.

When your body finally gets to feel what your mind already knows,
that’s when you can trust yourself fully.

Somatic therapy helps you gently shift out of survival mode and into a grounded, regulated, deeply supported way of being.

How an Intro Session Works:

Your intro session is a gentle 45-minute experience to help you explore somatic therapy with no pressure or long-term commitment.

Here’s what to expect in your session:

  • Arrive + exhale. We’ll start with grounding and a gentle check-in so your body feels safe, settled and supported.

  • Nervous system re-connection. I’ll guide a short somatic practice to help you understand where your system might be dysregulated (and what it needs to feel regulated again).

  • Space to be honest. We’ll explore what’s coming up (emotionally, mentally, energetically, physically, spiritually) without pressure to “perform,” get things perfect or have it all figured out.

  • Personalized support. You’ll receive clear recommendations based on your goals, your season of life, and what your body is signaling.

  • A next step you can trust. You’ll leave with clarity on whats next for you in this season of life.
    (whether that means working together or simply taking what you learned and integrating it on your own.)

  • Intro Investment: $75
    Location: Tulsa, OK or via Zoom

My standard rate for private somatic sessions is $175.

I do not accept insurance.
I can use your HSA/FSA funds.

I believe healing is most effective when it feels safe and accessible which is why I offer a small number of sliding scale sessions for people experiencing financial hardship.
